This course is available only from late April to late May and from early July to mid-July.
After experiencing tea picking at the tea garden, you can make and drink tea using the tea leaves.

01 CHA Ujicha Experience

120 minutes

After experiencing tea picking at the tea garden, visitors can make and drink tea from the picked sprouts using a hot plate. Cooking using the sprouts will also be introduced. Sweets included.

02 Stone Milling Experience

10 minutes -

While the tea leaves are drying at the CHA Uji Tea Experience, you can grind the ground tea leaves on a stone mill to make matcha. Ground matcha can be brewed and drunk on the spot.

03 Learning Tea at the Promotion Office

Visitors can learn about the history and types of tea, the manufacturing process, and the history of Fukujuen through panels and videos.

We set the table for scenes that meet the world's tea life.
